This is a blog on parenthood, and a What’s On guide for tots (bumps, babies and beyond) for Sutton, Tandridge, Purley and surrounding areas…

We love being outdoors and getting out and about, but also understand the need to keep little minds entertained on rainy days, so have included some craft ideas too, as well as reviews on local activities, events and attractions (and holidays and destinations further afield).

Founded by two local mums, Claire & Jardine, to help other mummies find out about what’s on for babies and pre-schoolers.  We both found the early days of motherhood quite lonely and, without the support of other mums close by, finding out what’s happening for babies and tots can be rather daunting – especially with a newborn in tow.  We wanted to give mums like us access to a local source of reviews and so, Tots On was born.

We are:

Claire, mummy to two boys, who love trying out new activities.  A bargain hunter at heart, I also love Nearly New Sales and finding fun, affordable things to do with friends and their little ones.  Having spent 15 years working in the travel industry and seeing the wonders of the world, motherhood is the most exciting journey I’ve ever been on and I’m loving every minute!

Jardine, a single mummy of two boys, who keep me busy 24/7. The boys and I love to travel (both in the UK and abroad) and try out new places and activities. My eldest is now at school, so time spent together as a family is very special.  Whether that’s a weekend at home in Sutton, a week on the Isle of Wight or a fortnight in Spain, we always make the most of every day.  Life as a family of three is certainly an adventure, and we’re enjoying the ride.
